From Chattanooga: Total Driving Distance: approx 24 miles
US-27 North (approx 20 miles)
Take Exit 319 (Hixson Pike/ Soddy Daisy)
Turn Left off exit ramp on to Tsati Ter (0.3 miles)
Turn Right on Dayton Pike (0.7 miles)
Turn Left on Durham St. (0.4 miles)
Turn Right on Spring St (0.1 miles)
Turn Left on Hot Water
Hot Water Road - As soon as you begin going up the mountain, through the gorge
you will see a small pull off on your right, the Cumberland trail goes up from here,
keep driving a few hundred yards and there is a pull off on the left.
Walk back to the Cumberland trail, follow it for approx 3 miles and you will be there.
This is the only way that anyone can legally visit this calamity.
The Hike is beautiful, here are some things you will probably see along the way!
