General Format
Permitted:
Laps, do as many runs as you want on a creek/river or certifiable section there of (ex.
Chattooga Sec IV, Upper West Prong, etc...)



Drive where ever you want, you don't have to stay in your hometown.
There are no mins - Run anything YOU feel is at a safe level to paddle on.



Not Permitted:

You must complete an entire known run or accepted section there of. Doing Laps on 1 or
limited drops will not count towards total TVF.




Solo expeditions (a.k.a.
Vision Quest) - You must have at least 2 team members (we
strongly encourage a min. of 3) on a descent in order for the run to count.






Teams splitting up doing seperate runs on the same day on seperate creeks. If paddling on
the same creek, team's members are allowed to alternate between laps ("pass the
baton-shuttle").



Please don't try and beat the system by forming teams that cover huge distances. Form
teams using people you usually boat with on a frequent/somewhat frequent basis.

Huge mandatory portages, unrunnable rapids, and unrunnable waterfalls that result in major
loss of gradient will be subtracted from overall elevation change i.e. Rainbow Falls , Misty
Falls (for now lets say anything that drops more than 50 feet)
